Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robot vacuum-mop makes an ideal choice for those living in apartments since it has a smaller docking system and carries its own rubbish bin. The application lets you set various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping function is also impressive.

Its obstacle avoidance and mapping are impressive, and it mops very well, picking up pet hair, spillages, and dirt. It also self-empties itself and self-cleans and replenishes its water tank.

iRobot Roomba Combo

The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo can't replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with a mobile app that is simpler to use however it's a great alternative. It was able to consistently remove dirt from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems, such as LiDAR and structured light, but it still is able to avoid most collisions.

The Combo has many of the same smarts that the J7 Plus does, including the onboard acoustic sensor that can determine the floor's type and AI-powered Navigation. However, it's not able to set suction power by hand. It's also a bit smaller than the vac-only model, and doesn't come with a self-emptying dock.

The Combo is one of my favorite options for most homes. Its sleek design is also among the best I've seen in the market. The sleek matte black plastic appears superior to the competition's glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's little touches--like a leather tab to open the onboard bin and a shelf in the dock that can hold additional bags--are more elegant than many of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo also makes it easy to create maps of your home, and to set up Keep-Out Zones as well as No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.

Roborock

While Roborock is comparatively new to the robotic vacuum and mop market, it's already established its name thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning techniques. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, while its mopping systems utilize vibrating mops to scrub floors clean. Furthermore, a range of scheduling and mapping options allow you to fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your particular home.

Another impressive Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance that allows the robot to see objects that are lower than its height. This is especially helpful for the most popular Roborock models, like the Qrevo Master, which is the best in its class in terms of navigation because of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs are known to run over pet faeces and slam furniture with no awareness. The Qrevo Master, however, solves this problem by using a Reactive Artificial Intelligence system that makes use of two cameras to see the presence of objects in a room.

Roborock robots come with a range of convenience features to reduce maintenance. They include docks that can be auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with multiple functions. They remove the need to manually empty dustbins and wash mops, resulting in an experience that is completely hands-free. In addition the app's simple design and lag-free connection to the robot makes it easy to use.

Hobot Legee D8

With a range of integrated cleaning modes and advanced mopping features, the Hobot Legee is among the top robot vacuums/mops for wet and dry floors. Its advanced navigation system combines five technologies to plan and follow a path that is most efficient. It can also recognize different flooring materials, as well as obstacles with precision. It can raise its body up to 7mm to glide across carpets. Smart spray system uses just the right amount of water for stain removal, without leaving water marks.

The Legee is the Gen 4 Robot, competes directly against the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both models cost more.  Robot Vacuum Mops  is more advanced that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets better than the round version. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro E-compass) four forward-facing sensors, one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two Cliff detectors, front and back (most robots have just one pair). The robot also includes Legee SLAM, which reduces the bump-and grind problems that plague Gen 4 Robots.

The Legee is different from other robots because it comes with a trash compactor and operates on the quieter 5 GHz band of Wi-Fi. The LuLu mop cleaning station washes, refills, and dry the mop's  cloth. This means you can use it up to six times longer than other mop cloths. It also cuts down on waste and frequency of emptying bins.

Karcher RCV 5

Karcher, known for its pressure washers and gardening tools, has been dabbling with robot vacuums for some time. This is the most advanced model from the brand. It can create maps of your home using LiDAR, and can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It also differentiates between carpets and hard floors and prevent the dreaded puddles on your carpet.

Its navigation is top-notch it can navigate around furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lowering itself up steps. The machine can be customised with a variety of settings that include cleaning schedules and which rooms it is required to clean. It has an emergency button' that forces the robot to return home if its power runs out. It can be set to shut off automatically if an approaching storm is detected.

The RCV 5 is very easy to use, and despite being quite heavy, at around 4kg, you shouldn't have any difficulty moving it around furniture. Safety features like sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs are appreciated by parents with small children. Once it is charged, the device takes only a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on the top will flash in green to signal that it is ready to use.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that blends advanced cleaning technology with affordability. It's a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. The Mova E30 Ultra is a less expensive model, but it comes with features that are not found in other models. It utilizes sensors to alter the settings for various surfaces and floors as well as identify areas that are more prone to dirt. It can also move at an accelerated pace to avoid damage to furniture and walls.

The device can map the interior of your home and display it through the app. You can also mark specific areas and objects you would like the vacuum to stay clear from. The device will slow down when it spots an obstacle, and will stop from crashing into it. The device also comes with a smart dust bin which alerts you of its fullness so you can empty the bin in time.

The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective option for those who wish to delegate their cleaning chores. It has dual functionality as a robot vacuum and mop, allowing you to keep your floors clean without having to lift a finger. It also has a smart design that boosts the efficiency of cleaning corners by up to 60 percent. It has suction power of up to 7,000 Pa and a RoboSwing arm, which can be controlled by the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RV3 is a stylish, feature-packed robot vacuum and mop. It does an outstanding job at keeping floors neat and tidy. While it's not able to raise its mops to carpets and rugs as the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors and tackling mopping with a stunning speed. It comes with a self-emptying bin, a superior level of suction, a range of mopping options, and a high-quality app that works both on iOS and Android.

It's smaller than most of the competition and its main brush is smaller than others, but it managed to make short work of our test area easily. The rotating brush on the side for edges is a nice addition and, while it didn't lift dirt off our carpets and carpets like other competitors, it did a very good job overall.

Individual cleaning parameters can be set up for each room, and the robot will create detailed maps of the rooms by using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The app is easy to use and comes with various voice output options that can keep you informed about the condition of your robot. Regular software updates help improve and extend the capabilities. The app is able to remotely manage the RCV3 even when you are away from home.
